Wherever I travel, I often see American capitalism at work. How many countries around the world have McDonalds? Karl Johans gate, the main parade street in Oslo, has become completely overrun with shitty American establishments such as Hard Rock Cafe and T.G.I. Friday’s. In fact, there are actually 4 T.G.I. Friday’s locations in the main part of Oslo, which are always packed with people. For some reason Norwegians love it although in America we stopped eating there ten years ago.

So it’s no surprise that at an outdoor restaurant on Karl Johans gate you can find this:
